Iran Electronics Industrial (IEI) was establish in 1972 and presently is the major producer of electronic systems and products in Iran.
With six subsidiaries , over one hundred different kinds of electronics products IEI is considered as the largest electronic conglomerate in Iran.
In military field , IEI’s activities cover a diversified range including Optics, Electro-optics & Laser ,Communication ,Telecommunication Security under water communication, Electronic warfare , Radar tube manufacturing & Refurbishment and Missile Launchers.
In Military communication , Modern tactical communication system in HF, VHF and UHF and also electronic field telephone and switchboard are manufactured by IEI.
In Optic and Electro-Optics, IEI is manufacturer of night vision systems (NVS) , Laser Range Finders and Day Sight Optics like Binoculars and Periscopes.

Electronics Components Industries (ECI) :
The rapid growth of the electronics industry in Iran calls for establishment of an electronic components facility to meet the related technological requirements and create a base for the future expansion of this vital field.
The electronic components industries (ECI) comprises two complexes, one in Shiraz and the other in Tehran. Its activities include among other designing and manufacturing of semiconductor devices, quartz crystal, multilayer PCB and thick film hybrid, infantry field wire ,Optical cable and access system .

Isfahan Optics Industries (IOI) was founded in 1987 with the aim of setting up a vigorous and modern optics industry. The employment of high qualified engineers and state-of-the art equipment has made the IOI one of the most capable industries in the country.
The design and manufacture of complex lenses and prisms, multilayer coatings, a wide range of day light sights and various types of aircraft windshields are carried out at I.O.I

Iran Electronics Research Center ( IERC ) :
Iran Electronics Research Center (IERC) as a scientific, educational and research institute, with active research teams in fields of electronics, communications, microprocessors, microelectronics, optics and radars was founded according to decision made by supreme council of Electronics Industries (IEI) date June 1997 and approval of ministry of Science, Research and Technologies development council dated July 1998 .
